Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Trouvo is operated by ivmar, Inc., a company incorporated in the State of Delaware, United States. These terms are the agreement between you and ivmar, Inc. for your use of Trouvo (the website, the application and everything we serve from them). By creating an account or using Trouvo you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

2. What Trouvo does

Trouvo helps you prepare for job interviews. Give it a job posting or a role and company, and it turns that into an interview briefing: research on the company and, where you tell us who you are meeting, on the people interviewing you; likely and tricky questions for the stage you are at; and the stories from your own experience that best answer them. After an interview, tell Trouvo how it went, and it carries what it learns into your next briefing.

Trouvo also keeps your professional profile: your work experience, education, certifications and the stories you want to reuse across interviews. Features we are still building, such as a CV builder and job and company tracking, are marked as coming soon in the product until they ship; these terms cover Trouvo as it exists today, and each new feature is covered from the day it becomes available to you.

Some of Trouvo is free. The rest is available as a paid subscription or as a one-time purchase; section 9 describes both. What is included in each, and its price, are shown in the product before you buy.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Trouvo. If the law where you live sets a higher age for consenting to online services on your own, you must have reached that age. By using Trouvo you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you are able to enter into a binding agreement.

If you use Trouvo on behalf of an employer or another organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it, and "you" in this document then means that organisation as well.

4. Your account

You need an account to use most of Trouvo. You can create one with an email address and a password, or by signing in with a Google, Apple or LinkedIn account.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us, for keeping your password confidential, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us at support@ivmar.co as soon as you believe someone else has access to it.

One person, one account. Do not share your account, sell it, or let someone else use it.

5. Acceptable use

Use Trouvo for preparing your own job applications and interviews. Do not:

6. Your content

Everything you put into Trouvo (anything you write, upload or otherwise provide as the product comes to accept it) stays yours. We claim no ownership of it.

You grant ivmar, Inc. a licence to host, store, copy, transmit, display and process that content, and to create the derived material the product produces from it, strictly to the extent needed to operate Trouvo for you, to keep it secure, and to comply with the law. The licence ends when the content or the account is deleted, except for copies held in backups until they expire on their normal schedule.

You are responsible for the content you provide: for having the right to provide it, and for its accuracy.

7. Our intellectual property

These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use Trouvo, and no other right in it.

Your deliverables. Once you have paid for it, we assign to you all right, title and interest in the interview briefing, the questions, the stories and any other material Trouvo generates specifically for your order, other than Our Technology, defined below.

Personal use only. What Trouvo generates for you is for your own job search and interview preparation. Do not resell it, redistribute it or use it commercially.

Our Technology. Trouvo itself, and everything behind it: our software, design, text, logos, name, prompts, templates, models, workflows and know-how, belongs to ivmar, Inc. or to the parties that licensed it to us ("Our Technology"). Do not copy, modify, decompile, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from any part of it, except where the law says you may despite this restriction.

What you give us. Your resume, the job postings and company details you provide, and any recording or transcript you give us, remain yours; section 6 describes the licence you grant us to use them.

Improving Trouvo. We may use de-identified, aggregated usage data to operate and improve the service. We do not sell personal information; see our Privacy Policy.

8. Third-party services and AI providers

Trouvo is built on a number of third-party services. We use DigitalOcean to host the application and the database, Stripe to process payments and subscriptions, Resend to send account email, Amplitude for product analytics (only if you accept analytics cookies) and Sentry for error monitoring. We use Anthropic, DeepSeek and Moonshot AI to read and generate material from what you give Trouvo: reading your resume into your profile, researching a company or an interviewer, generating interview questions, and reading back a call transcript.

Anthropic's terms do not let it train its own models on what we send it. DeepSeek's and Moonshot AI's do. Our Privacy Policy describes each provider, what each receives, and where it is, in full.

Your use of a feature that depends on one of these services may be subject to that provider's own terms as well as ours.

9. Subscriptions and payment

Parts of Trouvo may be offered on a paid subscription, or as a one-time purchase. Where they are, what is included, the billing period (for a subscription) or the scope of what you receive (for a one-time purchase), and the price, are shown in the product before you buy, and that is what you agree to when you do. Prices are stated in the product inclusive or exclusive of taxes as shown there; any tax that applies to you is added at checkout.

A subscription starts when your first payment is taken, runs for the billing period you chose, and renews automatically for a further period of the same length at the end of each one, at the price then shown for that plan, until you cancel. We charge the payment method on your account for each renewal.

A one-time purchase is a single, non-recurring charge for a defined scope of Trouvo, such as one full interview-preparation briefing across its stages. It does not renew; buying it again is a separate purchase.

We will tell you in advance, by email, before a price change or a change of billing period takes effect for your subscription, so that you can cancel before it applies.

If a payment fails we may retry it and may suspend access to paid features until it succeeds.

10. Cancellation

You can cancel a subscription at any time in the product. Cancellation stops the next renewal: you keep access to the paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no further payment is taken after that. A one-time purchase has nothing to cancel: it does not renew.

You can delete your account at any time in Account Settings, or by writing to support@ivmar.co. Deleting the account ends the agreement and stops future renewals, and is not by itself a request for a refund of the current period.

11. Refunds

Payments for a subscription period that has begun, and a one-time purchase once we have delivered what it paid for, are not refunded, except where these terms say otherwise, where the law where you live gives you a right to a refund, or where the service failed materially and we could not put it right within a reasonable time. Nothing here limits a statutory right you have as a consumer.

If you believe a payment was taken in error, write to support@ivmar.co and we will look into it.

12. Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you have the right to withdraw from a contract for digital services within 14 days of entering into it, without giving a reason. To exercise it, write to support@ivmar.co within that period; a clear statement is enough.

Trouvo is available to you as soon as you subscribe or complete a one-time purchase. By doing so and asking us to start providing the service immediately, you expressly consent to performance beginning before the 14-day period ends, and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once we have fully performed, or for a one-time purchase, once we have delivered what you bought. Where we have only partly performed when you withdraw, you pay a proportion of the price matching what you have used, and we refund the rest.

13. Service availability and changes

We work to keep Trouvo available, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may take it down for maintenance, and we may change, add or remove features as the product develops.

Where a change materially reduces what a paid plan gives you, we will tell you before it takes effect and you may cancel your subscription.

14. Disclaimers

Trouvo helps you prepare. It does not find you a job, it does not guarantee an interview or an offer, and its output is not legal, financial, immigration or career advice. Check anything it produces before you rely on it or send it to anyone.

The Services are for educational and informational purposes only and are not professional advice. Outputs are generated using AI and should be reviewed by you before you rely on them; you are responsible for how you use them. Trouvo can help you prepare, but hiring decisions are made by employers. Trouvo does not guarantee interviews, offers, salaries or hiring outcomes, and our materials are not reviewed or endorsed by any employer.

To the extent the law allows, Trouvo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

15. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, ivmar, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost employment or lost data arising out of your use of Trouvo.

Where ivmar, Inc. is liable, its total liability for all claims arising in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Trouvo in that period and 50 EUR.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and any statutory liability owed to you as a consumer.

16. Termination

You may stop using Trouvo at any time, and delete your account in Account Settings or by writing to support@ivmar.co; section 10 says how.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service. Except where the breach is serious or the law requires immediate action, we will give you notice and a chance to put things right. If we discontinue the service or terminate your access without cause while you have a paid subscription, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for.

17. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms as the product and the law change. The current version is always at this address, with the date it took effect at the top.

Where a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will tell you by email or in the product at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Trouvo after that date means you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, cancel your subscription and stop using the service before they take effect.

18. Miscellaneous

Entire agreement. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about Trouvo.

Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, an acquisition or a sale of assets.

Severability. If a provision of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

Waiver. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it.

Force majeure. We are not liable for a delay or a failure caused by something beyond our reasonable control.

Survival. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, your content licence for backups, our intellectual property, payment, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law, survive it.

19. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of that State have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of the country where you live, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
